About the Authors:
Dr. Greg Smalley is the director of Church Relationship Ministries for the Center for Relationship Enrichment at John Brown University, a professor of marriage and family studies at John Brown University, and a founder and board member of the National Institute of Marriage. He also maintains a counseling practice─called a marriage Intensive─in which he specializes in working with couples crisis, and he leads marriage seminars around the world. Greg earned a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University. He is the author and coauthor of several books, including The Marriage You’ve Always Dreamed Of, The DNA of Relationships, The DNA of Parent-Teen Relationships, Men’s Relational Toolbox, Life Lines: Communicating with Your Teen, Winning Your Wife Back Before It’s Too Late, and Winning Your Husband Back Before It’s Too Late. Greg has appeared on both television and radio programs, including Focus on the Family and Hour of Power. Greg and his wife, Erin, have three children and live in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
Dr. Robert S. Paul is the copresident of National Institute of Marriage and is the director, primary innovator, and creator of their highly acclaimed Intensives programs. Bob received a master’s degree from Georgia State University, and a diploma in Christian counseling and an honorary doctorate from Psychological Studies Institute. He is a licensed professional counselor and a national certified counselor. Bob is a regular speaker at both marriage and professional conferences. He is a coauthor of The DNA of Relationships. Bob is a former professor at Evangel University, where he taught in both the Biblical Studies and Psychology departments, specializing in marriage and family counseling, human sexuality, and the integration of faith into all areas of life. Bob and his wife, Jenni, have four children and live in Branson, Missouri.
