Honorable men are the fiber of a strong society. And if we are to build a strong nation, we must start with our own men, our own sons, and our own children. Our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, asserted, "Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng ating bayan." While this principle is true, it lacks direction. How do we properly raise our young people today? How do we raise our sons to become honorable men? What values are we supposed to give them?

If you are looking for a resource on manhood, this book is for you. No, it does not teach a man everything he needs to know in life, but it is a good start. It is a book that talks about purpose, character, courage, wisdom, and leadership-five important traits every man and soon-to-be-men should know. It is a good first step for fathers mentoring their sons in the way of the Lord. So I invite dads and mentors to pick up this book and share a journey with your sons.
